Tenerife - Reconnect With  Nature

“Keep close to nature’s heart…and break clear away, once in a while, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean” - John Muir

It is only when you build that connection with nature that you realise how important it is to keep it. Sadly, nowadays most people think of nature as something independent of their lives. This thought can sometimes cause a feeling of emptiness in our lives. If this is your case, do not worry, because Tenerife is the perfect place for you to fill that “hole” and re-build your connection with nature!

Because of the amazing weather and natural environment of Tenerife, there are so many ways to do it:

One of them is going hiking/trekking. It doesn’t matter whether you are not accustomed to walking long distances or you are an experienced hiker…there are options for all levels!

I personally find fulfilment when being in the sea (no wonder why I am a marine biologist…) If you feel the same way, being on a boat watching whales and dolphins will definitely be an incredible experience. If you want even more contact with the sea, going for a swim in any of the many beaches around, or surfing the waves would be highly recommendable.

There are many other little things that will connect you with nature such as watching the beautiful sunsets or discovering species of plants or animals that you had never seen before…

No matter how you do it...come over and experience it yourself!
