Project Development Intern - Chiara  Silvestrini

I always have been interested in environmental sustainability and nature conservation. During my Masters Degree in International Relations I focused my attention on sustainable development and marine conservation, pursuing the path of managing marine litter and plastic pollution in marine ecosystems.

I have been travelling alone all around the world since I was younger, having the possibility to get in contact with different cultural backgrounds and traditions. I had several volunteering experiences with children, local communities in Eastern Europe and South America and protecting marine turtles in Turkey.

Working as a project development intern I really hope to gain new professional and personal skills to apply in my future. As far as I am concerned I think that my experiences can give a valuable asset to the Frontier Team. I am really excited to take part to this internship experience because I always have been looking for volunteering experiences all around the world and I think that the opportunity to work for volunteering projects is a great chance for me, especially in the field of wildlife and marine conservation. During these next months I really hope to improve my knowledge and experiences to work  for conservation, in environmental organizations and raising awareness on environmental and climate change problems.
