I am a recent graduate from the University of Brighton, having read Environment and Media Studies. I have always been passionate about conservation and the role that the media has in shaping our perception of environmental concerns and sustainable development.
I’ve grown up in North London surrounded by lots of different cultures and also remain very close to my Cypriot heritage. This has heavily contributed to my love for travel, particularly the opportunity to learn about and experience different cultures. Many of my experiences abroad have been with my family, who are avid travellers.
Before going to university I travelled to Peru for 5 weeks as part of a volunteer programme. For me, this acted as a mini ‘gap year’ experience and gave me a real confidence boost before moving to university – I’d love to do be able to do more experiences like this.
I am excited to be at Frontier as an Event & Marketing Intern and to have the opportunity to combine my interests in media, environment and ethical travel, and most importantly gain new experiences.
