It’s undeniable that there’s a lot to do here in Nosy Be with the community projects; teaching English, visiting the orphanage, making friends at the youth club, giving lessons at health club and teaching on the beach!
Running English classes at youth club is always entertaining and always fulfilling, but this week it has absolutely made my week. The group of not-all-so-youthful students are honestly some of the best and brightest people I’ve ever met.
Original. Unique. Gripping. All words thrown at me when I queried “How can I write a readable blog?” I confess that in my own mind I will fall short of those adjectives in the following 464 words; however, I do hope that my sense of humour carries to the reader and renders this blog ‘readable’ anyway.
When I told people I was going to an island in the middle of nowhere about a gazillion miles from home for one month with one working knee, they mostly called me crazy but after only 2 weeks in this paradise I only wish I’d booked to stay longer.
