From Conservation to  Teaching

After working in both marine and forest with wildlife, it was definitely a change to move to the town and start teaching. At first the thought of it was very daunting as it was very different to anything I have ever done but now looking back on it I am so glad I decided to this part of the project.

Schools

Most people in Europe will have had 14 years of Education with Interactive White Boards, Computers, the option of a warm meal for lunch, a Climbing Frame with a nearby Football Pitch... seems pretty common.

Never a Dull  Moment

We are very lucky on the community side to have the best of both worlds; Monday to Thursday we spend in Hell-Ville town (with all the luxuries of a proper house, toilets, supermarkets and cafes), whilst at midday on Thursday we leave to join the conservation volunteers at our camp location next to Lokobe national park.
