Teaching at Agricultural  School

I came to Madagascar on the Marine Conservation project, knowing that most of my time will be spent dealing with marine life around the island of Nosy Be, including surveying under water and learning more about certain species. However, I still hoped to be able to catch glimpses into the other projects by Frontier, Forest and Community.

A New Life In The Tropical  Jungle

Hey I’m Lucie, Frontier’s new Marine Assistant ResearchOfficer at camp in Madagascar! Over the last few days I’ve been familiarising myself with camp life, met all of the other members of staff and volunteers and started training for the invertebrate and reef fish surveys.

From Conservation to  Teaching

After working in both marine and forest with wildlife, it was definitely a change to move to the town and start teaching. At first the thought of it was very daunting as it was very different to anything I have ever done but now looking back on it I am so glad I decided to this part of the project.
