I'm feeling Zen 

I decided to come here because my brother was here a few years ago and he absolutely loved it. At first my main reasons were quite vain, I wanted to get away from all the responsibilities at home, I wanted to lose weight, and get a nice tan. Also, volunteer work looks great on your CV and college applications.

On The Dive Boat 

Sometimes in silence we travel (depending on the time of day). Setting off from our little patch of island with Mon Flis, our little blue boat and our boat Captain, Victor. More often than sometimes there are no need for words as the mountains and the mangroves, and the distant mainland speaks of things we cannot process, on a 6:30 am survey.

The Fence Of  Mangroves

Surrounding the camp and the village, along the beach and growing next to the rivers here, are mangroves. They easily stand out; looking either like floating big bushes during high tide, and thin Ents covered in shells walking on nail mats during low tide.
