First  Impressions

In the week that I have been here I have settled in to camp and gotten to know the communities. From leaving London when it was raining, to arriving with hot weather was such a relief as I had been told that it was cyclone season. In the last week it's been getting hotter and hotter day by day and the adjustment to the heat is slowly happening.

All the delights of  Diving

I'll never forget my first Open Water Dive. The adrenaline which I've now learnt accompanies every dive was bubbling through my veins much like the air from a regulator. The feeling of astonishment when you put your head under the water and see fish dart past you in amongst the corals, colours so vivid you almost can't believe your eyes.

A New Life In The Tropical  Jungle

Hey I’m Lucie, Frontier’s new Marine Assistant ResearchOfficer at camp in Madagascar! Over the last few days I’ve been familiarising myself with camp life, met all of the other members of staff and volunteers and started training for the invertebrate and reef fish surveys.
