My Time On Beqa

I got to spend a weekend on Beqa Island which was so much fun. It rained the entire weekend and I came back covered in mud but the people on camp made the weekend awesome, I was in hysterics the whole weekend.

I fell off the bunk bed in the pitch black and almost slid all the way to the toilet as the mud was so slippery. The toilet and the shower were like nothing I have ever experienced, the views were to die for. It was sad to leave Beqa and we almost got washed away on the boat back, it was like something out of Moby Dick but fortunately the Hot Bread Oven was waiting for us.

The fun didn’t end there as the Georgian rugby team happened. We met them in the mall one day and they came to talk to us. They were keen to hang out with us as they struggled with the language barrier. They invited us for drinks at their hotel so we dressed up and went over. We sat on one side of the pool and they were on the other. It took a while for them to be brave enough to talk to us but once one came over they all joined us and our party of nine become a party of thirty. It was one of the best experiences of my life partying with the rugby players and my new girlfriends. We went to watch the Fiji vs Georgia rugby game on Friday. It doesn’t get better than Fiji!
