I think for all of us, one of the highlights of the trail was the two day Acetenango volcano hike in Antigua (Guatemala). After a day of indecision and wondering if we’d actually be able to get ourselves up the volcano, (Due to some ex-army guy we met telling us it was the hardest thing he’d ever done) we decided to go for it.
