Exploring Antigua 

We arrived in Antigua, a beautiful scenic town nestled in mountains and volcanos, where no stone on any of the many cobbled streets seemed level, but that's what made it so charming. Our hostel had a lovely roof terrace with hammocks and fairy lights, where we could eat and look down over the night.

Week 2 On The Trail - Guatemala: Temples & Lakes 

After a full day of travelling we arrived in Flores, a beautiful lakeside island in Guatemala. It's just an hour or so from the Tikal ruins, so we decided to treat ourselves to a 3am start to get there in time to see the sunrise over the temples.
