A Week Of Inspiration And Exploration

This week at school has been great fun. With grade one I've been covering food and animals and the kids loved doing role plays such as ordering in a restaurant and visiting the zoo. I really enjoy doing activities like this with them as it's not only fun to get the class out of their seats and doing something different but I also find when they're happy in what they're doing they're much more compliant!

Paradise on Camp 

After two weeks of teaching English in Siem Reap, we were ecstatic to finally head down to Sihanoukville (a bumpy 12 hour journey) to catch the speed ferry to the island of Koh Rong Samloem where we were to begin a weeks worth beach conservation volunteering.

Goodbye M’Pai Bai!

My last week on Koh Rong Sanloem has been a hectic one! With two extra surprise volunteers for the Siem Reap teaching project we have managed to collect enough data to do some analysis and we’ve taken the measurements of every single mangrove in the bay!

Cambodia Marine Conservation Blog

After our bumpy journey over to Koh Rong Samloem on the night bus from Siem Reap, a day of rest in Sihanoukville was essential. We made the most of the last of the WiFi, and got a speed ferry over to the island.
